  • What does an Occupational Therapy session look like?
Every visit starts by reviewing the progress and discussing your current needs for the visit. Depending on your goals, the therapist will then provide hands on intervention, training and education. We leave each session with skills to work on between sessions so that your journey is continuous. Relentless encourages communication between visits on our portal/text to ask questions, share victories and continue collaboration.
  • How long will I do Occupational Therapy?
Following an evaluation, your therapist will collaborate with you to decide goals and an estimate for length of services. The majority of our families receive OT support 1-2 times per week for 45-60 minutes each session. Our services can be short term for needs such as immediate caregiver training and long term for all encompassing support navigating infant routines and more complex obstacles.
  • How is Relentless different from other providers?
Relentless offers in home and community based services only. We provide intervention and training in natural environments to maximize your outcomes and carry over of skills at home. Our emphasis on training ensures you have the tools you need to be successful all the time and not just when you're at therapy. We also prioritize building strong relationships with our clients. That's why we intentionally keep our caseload small. This allows us to offer more flexibility in scheduling, ensuring that families can access therapy at times that work best for them. By creating a more personal experience, we aim to foster a sense of closeness and familiarity, so it feels less like appointments and more like being part of a supportive family.
  • Can I use my insurance?
Yes. Relentless is considered an out-of-network provider for most insurance companies. We also allow private pay and use of HSA/FSA funds to make sure families are receiving the services and caregiver training they need and not just the services that insurance is willing to cover. For questions about coverage, please call us.
  • What is a therapeutic community outing?
Therapeutic community outings are a unique service Relentless is able to offer because of our independent structure. We can visit any place in the Lincoln, NE; Omaha, NE or surrounding communities that you would like to access or work on skills. We have done outings to schools, soccer games, restaurants, schools, the zoo and more. We love working on skills including transfers in the community, vehicle access, money management, executive functioning and social interactions just to name a few.
  • What is your cancelation policy?
Relentless requests a 24 hours notice prior to cancellations in order to guarantee a session can be rescheduled. However, we understand illness and unexpected conflicts arise and will work with families as best we can to reschedule within a timely manner. If you are not able to meet in person and don't want to cancel your appointment, you may request a Telehealth visit at any time. Our Telehealth services support families wherever they may be needing help.
  • What is a Good Faith Estimate?
As part of the No Surprises Act (2022), the Good Faith Estimate allows individuals not using insurance to pay for medical services to request a list of anticipated costs prior to services. We are very transparent in the cost of our services and you will be able to access all billing on our client portal. You may also request a Good Faith Estimate at any time. To Learn More: Click Here
